Marcelo Werleman, owner of Magero Laundry, was working at that time at the oil refinery Lago in Aruba. This oil company had to shut its doors on Aruba and there was not much work in Aruba. Because Mrs Florecita Werleman-Damascus was born on Bonaire the family decided to move to Bonaire and look for work.
The family moved from Aruba to Bonaire on the 14th of July 1985 and in September 1985 the first Laundry service opened its doors in a space of 4 meters by 6 meters in the building of the former Cultimara, now Top Supermarket.
In 1993, together with some Dutch shareholders the family set up the industrial laundry “Caribbean Laundry Service”, which offers laundry service especially to hotels, restaurants, apartments and the hospital.
In the year 2000 the Werleman family started with “Dry Cleaning” and on September 4 2010 they opened the doors to a Self-service Laundry which is next to the main building.
